Family Fishing Tournament
Family Fishing Contest 2010
The Prior Lake Association will hold their 10th annual Family Fishing Tournament at Captain Jack's, Sunday August 8th, as part of Lakefront Days.
Registration begins at
Trophies and cash prizes are awarded for each of the three largest fish from six species along with door prizes for all the children entered.

Registration: Captain Jack's - starting at 10:30 AM
Family Team: $5.00 Entry Fee
Six Species: Crappie, Sunfish, Large Mouth Bass, Northern, Walleye and Open
Awards: Each species by weight: 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place
Weigh-In Station: Captain Jack's (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
~ ~ Rules ~ ~

Must be a family to enter. No professionals will be allowed to enter. This is a low-key family event. Supply your own bait.

Family must have at least one member with a Minnesota fishing license (16 years and up).

All participants, as required by law, must carry Minnesota Fishing licenses. All Minnesota laws must be adhered to.

Weigh-in will be any time from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You may resume fishing after a fish has been weighed so that it may be returned to the lake (Catch & Release).

All fish must be presented or in line to be weighed before 2:00 PM to be entered.

Each angler may present a maximum of 3 fish, by weight, for each designated species.

Prizes will be awarded for the 3 largest fish, by weight, for each designated species.

Each angler may win only award in each species category.

Interpretation of these rules is up to the Prior Lake Family Fishing Tournament Rules Committee and will be final in all matters.

Trophies will be awarded immediately following weigh-in at 2:00 PM.

Door prizes for children will be awarded following trophy presentation.
